There’s a very entertaining writeup of bartitsu over at The Art of Manliness. If you’re interested in self defense techniques involving canes, hats, and trenchcoats then go check it out!

Also, comments are wonderful things. In the comments to that post, I learned about this: a Sherlock Holmes movie coming out in November featuring Robert Downey, Jr. as Holmes and Jude Law as Watson. Apparently Holmes demonstrates bartitsu to a group of rather impolite men he encounters. Sign me up!
